Copy Cat Chic Room Redo | Cheery Spring Bedroom

Spring has officially sprung, and I think we’re all feeling it – allergy-wise and decorating-wise! You all selected this delightful, Springy space by Melanie Turner in this week’s Facebook contest, and it’s no mystery why. I think this time of year makes even the most minimalist of us want to inject a little color and pattern back into our spaces for a quick dose of cheeriness, and this bedroom’s grassy greens and pale blues sure do the trick. This Easter egg of a room is a perfect example of the rule of threes: the palette looks harmonious because we see each color at least three times. There’s green in the drapes, pillows, and rug; blue in the settee, wall color, and pillows; white in the furnishings, drapes, and bedding; and gold in the coffee table and two art areas. The definition of chic!
