Copy Cat Chic Room Redo | Eclectic Entryway

· Audrey

For the first time in my life I have a well-defined entry area that I am desperate to transform à la Heather Bullard. To change out my builder-grade flushmount fixture for a gorgeous pendant would be a dream, and finding a large-scale vintage mirror is on the top of my list if I make it to Texas’ upcoming Round Top Antiques Fair this year. My favorite part about this space is how well-collected it looks, as if there’s no way anything came from the same store, yet it all looks fantastic in the mix. It’s an art!

This eclectic redo proves that a handful of key pieces can go just as far as a dozen in terms of style and variety. I’ll be honest–I wanted to include a gorgeous Dutch door for you. Researching these doors online was a first for me, and it turns out they’re quite a splurge! I’d recommend saving that would-be half of the budget for other items and instead painting your interior doors a dramatic Onyx, which designer Jenny Komenda of Little Green Notebook used on her new home’s front door. Happy hunting!

rug $200
