Room for One More

Exciting news for you guys today. We’re expecting! And Baby Deux is due on Momma’s birthday: November 21st. Happy Birthday to me! I’m about 13 weeks along right now, although measuring about a week ahead of schedule. I had my NT ultrasound last week and they’re pretty sure (already) that there’s a little man in there 🙂 Big news for the Copy Cat Chic family, the Mr is pretty excited. Well, we all are for sure, but I always thought I’d have all girls. Looks like I might be wrong!

I’m officially into my 2nd trimester now. I’m reeeeeally hoping the morning sickness and tiredness will be on their way soon. I wasn’t this tired with my first pregnancy, BUT I also had morning sickness the whole way through. I have a feeling the morning sickness will go away this time around (wishful thinking?).

I’m already having nesting thoughts in my head! Hazards of being a shelter blogger, huh? I’m planning on having Arden share a room with her younger sibling and keep the guest room as the guest room. Arden’s room is plenty big enough for two. Now to start searching for shared room inspiration!

I also want to get the playroom/den whipped into shape. And I need to go through our mountain of baby stuff in the garage. We probably won’t be needing all those baby girl clothes this time around, I’ll probably wait a little while before purging though, just to be sure.


No bump sighting yet, it’s more of a “thickening”…all over. Sigh. But I’ll be sure to keep you guys posted. In the meantime I’ve scattered this post with a few of my favorites!
