I'm interested in something similar to the ceramic garden stools BUT refuse to pay the $100+ for one. Any options that you've come across will be greatly appreciated.

This might be the one time that you will get what you pay for. Judging only by the picture, the Restoration Hardware construction appears superior to the French Country Furniture Direct light. The French Country furniture Direct (faux candles) lights which stick out the side are all bent in different directions-surely would drive me crazy, and no doubt inferior construction. Sorry this time I will pay more.
