3rd Blogoversary Giveaway | Cisco Valet!

This month marks Copy Cat Chic’s third year blogoversary! I can’t believe it’s been three years already. And like I do every year, I have a GREAT giveaway for you guys thanks to the generosity of my friends over at Cisco! They’ve offered up a free Cisco Valet Plus to one lucky Copy Cat Chic reader! I know I usually focus on furniture and home decor, but I just had to go a little techie with this one. I’ve been having issues with my wireless network lately…and to a full time blogger, that’s not good news. And I figured I needed to share the love with my loyal readers. I just received a brand spanking new Cisco Valet Plus to review. I was pretty stoked about the offer because my ole’ Apple Airport was slowly giving up the good fight. I hadn’t figured out what I was going to replace the Airport with, but the Cisco folks came to the rescue! I was considering the Apple Time Capsule but the $200 price tag was enough to make me stop and think. I’m happy to say that the Cisco Valet Plus is only $89!
I created a little video showing the set-up process – Which ended up taking less than 5 minutes!! I have to admit I procrastinated a little in setting it up, because I was worried about network downtime. It was sooo easy, I’m still in shock. And the network is working great for me, no signal dropping and there’s even a separate network for guests! LOVE it.
Here’s a short clip of me setting up the Valet Plus. I’m just starting with this whole video thing, so I apologize in advance 😉 lol
My boy Nate is a fan of the Cisco Valet Plus too…here’s his input! His video is just a tad bit better than mine 😉

    Unfortunately, I am having BIG wireless network issues at my house. Oy vey. I do believe this fancy contraption would solve that problem! 🙂 (pretty please?)

    I would love to win a Valet for my husband. He is trying to work his way into freelancing from home and considering entering the blogosphere. An upgrade from our ancient router would be a huge boost and a nice little surprise for him.

  17. Well since I bought my MAC (two years ago) our router never seems to be able to connect with the computer properly. Every time I wake the computer up from sleep mode I have to go and unplug the modem so the two can communicate!!! (A little annoying) I'm getting a bit tired of this so… the Cisco Valet Plus seems like a great solution!

  39. Ooh ooh ooh, do I need this! I have a menagerie of computer, printer and tv equipment in need of of a router to make them all work in concert. Would love to do it without a "medusa" corded system…

  40. I travel a lot for the dance company I'm in so this would allow me to do work, blog, check email, etc whenever I am without internet access.
