The CB2 one is awesome!! I have it in my bedroom over a chaise and I absolutely love it!
I LOVE arc lamps with a nice drum shade!! I was on the search for one forever – and was about to buy the one from CB2 – when the hubs decided he was going to make one. I was a little (okay a lot) skeptical, but he said he could do it for $10 plus the cost of a shade – so I knew I had to let him try. It came out PERFECT! Below is the post I did on it…

a couple of weeks ago my husband surprised me with the CB@ lamp…. it's fantastic. oh how i love it so.
Now Target has one for $80, and it actually looks pretty good:
