It’s my Birthday!

Just a quick post be an attention whore! It’s my birthday today 😀
The Mr surprised me in bed with a homemade pumpkin spiced latte & my favorite breakfast treat….

And he gave me this gorgeous backpack that I’ve been lusting over for months! I’m a self-admitted bag lady and a sexy bag like this had me drooling 😉 He knows me so well!

Later tonight we have reservations for Greens, one of San Francisco’s best vegetarian restaurants, seriously can’t wait!
And for dessert? My amazingly talented and gorgeous friend, Alaine (from Green Heart Bakery), has made me a delicious vegan birthday cake. I’m hoping it’s a chocolate cherry cake…my absolute FAVORITE cake in world. Seriously folks, it’s THAT good. Rich, dark chocolate and delicious organic cherries all in one healthy, good-for-you, topped with frosting, lil’ package. What’s not to like? 😉

My Mom got me a cast iron porcelain enameled dutch oven and a gift card to Whole Foods to go with it. I’ve been needing one of these forEVER, she’s so thoughtful. Can’t wait to break it in!

I’d have to say overall, this is a pretty damn good birthday so far!!! I feel sooo lucky 🙂 This is my last birthday before lil’ Baby B joins the party. I think she’ll be getting all the spoiling from then on, so I’m glad I got to go all out before then 😉

  5. Good heavens, but you're having a good birthday!!! Mine is on Friday…but I always cheat. I can't come right out and SAY it's my birthday, so I go ahead and write a big birthday wish to my sister. And…anybody who knows me, will realize that since we're IDENTICAL TWINS…I definitely have ulterior motives. 😉

    Your day sounded like perfection to me. Greens is one of my all time favorite restaurants!
    YOu totally scored on the birthday booty too. Love all your gifts, especially the laptop. Is that the new thin one I've been seeing all over the air waves? All I have to say is you deserve it all and more!!

    @RunningOnCoffee – He used this pumpkin spiced syrup I found at HomeGoods of all places…lol. Here is the same syrup at Amazon though (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000O8EVXU?ie=UTF8&tag=cocach-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000O8EVXU). It's amazing! You just add it to the milk & then steam it all. After you add it to your espresso you just sprinkle a dash of nutmeg on the top! It's pretty tasty!
