There's absolutely no reason to not go with the Ikea couch! The price difference makes it completely worth living with faux leather.
If I can weigh in on this – I own that Ikea couch, and cute as it may be…it's terribly uncomfortable. If you like to do more than sit in a completely erect position with your feet flat on the floor, you won't enjoy lounging on this couch.
My boyfriend's mother splurged and bought the DWR sofa-better not show her this article!!
Now that is a good find……but neither sofa I would use for lounging…i would use something softer and more roomy. :)))

It's worth the DWR couch for longevity – it's such a classic. Even if you decide to change the room – keep the couch! wall art
I have the IKEA couch and I actually find it really comfy! We've had it a few weeks now and at first it took a week to break in but now it's great for lounging. Then again I am the kind of person who can sleep anywhere – airplanes, standing up like a horse, on the subway – so maybe I'm just talented?
