Another one to consider is the DwellStudio Silver Lake convertible crib at Target for $299. I like the modern aesthetic without the w*lm*rt taint.

That is the crib we have for our son, and I love it. It is clean and simple, and best of all totally affordable. Plus it comes with a toddler rail included. Many of the expensive cribs do not, it is an extra expense. This crib is now over two years old, and looks great.
