  1. I've been looking for a twist on the standard brass piano lamp. This would look perfect there and also be functional…for the few times I actually sit and play!

  2. This lamp would be perfect in my home office. There is no overhead lighting, so I'm in major need of supplemental lighting!

  3. This would be a great addition to the reading corner in our master bedroom. We've got a chaise lounge, a cute little side table, a throw blanket and pillow- but not actually enough light to read by!

  4. Gorgeous lamp! It would look great on our sofa table that I use as a desk, where I am sitting right now reading your blog!

  5. I love this lamp and i hope to win it. I would def use it in my bedroom for reading time.

  6. I am looking for a fabulous lamp for out entry table, and I love the idea of using something other than a traditional lamp for it!

  7. i'd love a brass accent in our living room and this would look perfect on our black side table.

  9. I would sit this next to my hubby's reading chair that he uses at 3:00 in the morning when he can't sleep…and he kindly does it outside of the bedroom so he doesn't wake me up. Great find!

  10. Loving this lamp! Definitely would go in my reading nook in my bedroom on top of a small vintage wooden table and a big plush white chair.

  11. My husband and I just bought our first house, and I am so glad I found your blog. We are trying to do everything on the cheap, so a free lamp would really help with the finances! I think it would look great in my reading nook!

  12. I really like the style of this lamp, I have my desk in my bedroom and often am up later than I should be. My current lamp keeps hubby awake, but the design of this one is just perfect. Thanks for the giveaway!

  13. count me in. i bookmarked it yesterday when i saw the original post. i would use it in my gray entry on a mission oak desk. yes, gray+wood+brass = spectacular!!!!
no more ikea lamps for me. and the turquoise pottery that i collect (it's a baby collection only 3 pieces)will bring it home!

  14. I would love to put this on my husband's piano in our dining room. He likes to play while I am cooking, but hates the harsh light in the dining room. This would be perfect as it is a bit masculine!

  15. I would use it next to a cozy chair in my living room. I have 2 gold-toned mirrors in the room, and the lamp would be a great addition!

  16. Oh, love the richness of the color; it would look fabulous in son's nursery – I've been looking for something masculine to balance out the soft-baby vibes.

  17. I just moved into a very small (300 square feet) studio. This would be perfect on the table between my bed and couch!

  18. My boyfriend is working on setting up a very classic, scholarly study space. This lamp would be perfect on the desk for when he stays up studying late at night!

  19. I'm torn! I'd love to have it at my piano, but it'd also be wonderful to give some more style to my desk (I work from home, so I'd be enjoying it a lot!)

  20. This lamp would be perfect on my little writing desk in my bedroom. I've been needing a touch of metal!

  21. I would love to use that lamp on the sofa table we have behind our couch. It often gets used as a desk, but doesn't really have enough light. The light would also be nice for when you are reading magazines on the couch. Our living room is mostly neutrals so we need something brass to fit in but also give a little shine to the room.

  22. Oh, yay! I'm moving in March and am going to start from scratch with my bedroom decorating. This lamp would be awesome on a bedside table for my late night reading! 🙂

  23. In my living room! Where the only light I have at the moment is from my Christmas tree that I still haven't taken down.

  24. I would love to use this lamp in my living room–it has no overhead lighting so I need all the lamps I can get!

  30. I'm moving to a new office the end of the month and have been searching for a new desk lamp…I think I've found it!!!

  31. Right now I'd use that lamp in my living room. I actually don't have any side lamps in my living room and my end table could really use some light. So could I, as I attempt to read more books this year.

  32. I would put this in my little reading space. It ajoins the living room, so I've been looking for something that is cool, yet functional. This lamp definitely fits the bill!!!

  42. I just bought a secretary and this would be perfect lighting for it. It would look wonderful displayed when it is open, but would tuck nicely away.

  43. I have a big empty living room right now and that would be perfect in our little corner nook area on an end table. I'll be putting two lounge chairs on either side.

  44. I would love it in my charcoal grey living room. No overhead lighting in apartments drives me crazy, but this lamp would light up my life! 😉

  45. I'm in love with brass, too! I bought a sweet Victoria Hagan acrylic and brass lamp for the bathroom, and while everyone was doubting its awesomeness, I knew it would deliver. Now I am slowly returning all the fixtures and lamps to brass, which is what this old house had originally, anyway!

  46. I would love to have this lamp on my bedside table so that I can read at night before going to sleep. It's beautiful!

  47. Beautiful! Perfect inspiration piece for my home office makeover project (a la Copy Cat Chic!)
