Then I read about it in one of my favorite blogs, the Kind Life. In fact, Alicia helped design the vitamin herself. It also passed a test that no other vitamin has ever passed (for me) before. I was able to take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and NOT get nauseous. I was sold. I’ve been taking it regularly ever since!

I was such a fan of the multi-vitamin that I wanted to try some other Garden of Life products, so I decided to try out the Raw Meal. I don’t really have time to do breakfast in the morning, so I need something quick and healthy. Back in high school I used drink Carnation Instant Breakfast mixed with milk. Every. Single. Day. I think about that and shudder now 😉

I still like the idea of an “instant breakfast”, so I was excited to give this meal replacement shake a try. Here’s some more info about Raw Meal:

I love that it keeps you full while giving you energy. After one of these shakes, I’m set until lunch without snacking or extra cups of coffee. I have the vanilla flavor and it’s much tastier than I expected it to be considering how healthy it is 😉 The only thing semi-negative I’d say about it is that it’s pretty sweet. I remedy that by mixing it with unsweetened almond milk. Done and done – definitely a fan.
