Copy Cat Chic Room Redo | Saturated Dining Room

Today’s featured room was a challenge to track down–don’t you hate it when a Pin leads to just an image? Fortunately Google’s reverse image search saved the day and provided three other versions of the same space to boot! Here was my original inspiration image:
And below are three more images showing the room styled different ways:
The woman behind this eclectic and ever-changing dining space, Amanda Chantal Bacon, isn’t a designer by trade but clearly has the creativity and the eye for unique pieces that leads to gorgeous interiors. This room’s surprisingly sophisticated use of primary colors caught my eye first–who would have thought that cobalt blue art, an electric red rug, and a sunny yellow planter could coexist so nicely? Then there’s the scene-stealing light fixture, which coordinates well with the tulip table and unadorned windows. If you’re ready for a bold update to your dining area, this could be just the ticket!

Audrey, I want to say that I very much enjoy your room redos. I like how you capture the spirit of every room. Keep up the great work! In this room, I felt the spirit of the room was lost with the chairs in the redo. The ones in the original room are Thonet bentwood chairs which can be found at flea markets or antique stores, but I did find two armless versions on Etsy that would have been a better choice: https://www.etsy.com/listing/185652682/vintage-thonet-bentwood-cane-back-chairs?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product_listing_promoted&utm_campaign=vintage-furniture-mid&ione_adtype=pla&ione_creative=49924485635&ione_product_id=185652682&ione_product_partition_id=73775033304&ione_store_code=&ione_device=c&ione_product_channel=online&ione_merchant_id=11010951&ione_product_country=US&ione_product_language=en&gclid=CO_FhIOQssECFUgA7AodeFkAqA
Those chairs are not even close. They are hideous lawn furniture.
