| Wood Table with Metal Base |

Wondering if you have seen a cheaper (read Walmart/Target, etc.) version of the above-mentioned tables. Rectangular wood top with metal/iron base?

West Elm’s Modular Coffee Table = $399

Tanner Wood Top Occasional Table Collection = $399.99

Restoration Hardware Brickmaker’s Table = $1,495

Thanks!

Love your blog,
Ayleen

Okay folks, let’s help Alyeen out! I know I’ve seen similar tables out there, but I can’t remember where : Anyone know?

Enjoy your Holiday Weekend! I’ll be back on Tuesday 🙂

  1. Target.com's Wall Street Coffee Table is a decent match, although the legs are chrome-ish rather than a dull iron finish. It's $159 (plus free shipping) and it can be found here:

I'll give a shout out if I happen to see anything else in my web travels!

  2. i've been looking myself! checked overstock, crate & barrel, cb2, pottery, target etc…

I agree that the target one is the closest to the one she's looking for.

  3. Sorry to reply so late, but I hope this helps: You can have one of these tables made for under $150. Call a metal worker in your area and s/he can make the metal base for under $100. Then, Lowe's carries stain-ready "table top" wood that's about $25 for a coffee table size. You'll probably have to put veneer on the ends, but all in all it's still the most affordable way to replicate the look.
