After recently purchasing a sleek metal bed (for a song), it’s been hard for me to avoid decorating the rest of my home in the same material! Dark metal decor in steel, iron, bronze, etc. has a way of instantly upping the cool/contemporary factor in any space. It’s the perfect foil in a room full of upholstered and wood-toned or painted pieces, adding a bit of an edge and a fresh new texture. Next I’m eyeing these slim shelves for my living room and an iconic look-for-less chandelier for my dining room. What do you think: too much metal…or not enough?
