Copy Cat Chic Room Redo | Happy Chic Master

· Lindsey

Once again, our readers have shown their *impeccable* taste by voting for this stunner of a master bedroom in the latest Facebook poll. Thank you, as always, for making my job easy 😉

Besides everything, my favorite part of this master is the art installation above the headboard. What you put up there is totally open to interpretation, and you’ll get the same overall look as long as whatever you install maintains the sense of texture, movement and light of the original. I love the delicate, ethereal shimmer of this option, and this happy piece could fit easily into any Johnathan Adler store alongside the original. Another way to save money while still getting the look is to buy the nightstand shown in the redo rather than the 3-drawer dressers pictured in the original; you can trade a few drawers’ worth of storage for $1000 more in your pocket, and make up for the difference with that handy storage ottoman!

There’s also a very thorough and very affordable wall treatment DIY by Jenny at LGN (emoji praise hands for that woman, btw). She had cheap melamine boards cut into different plank lengths at Home Depot and simply attached them to the wall.
