Today’s bangin’ redo is inspired by Tammy 2 Megan Mullally and her Broadway dressing room. Not only does this article contain a superb before-and-after, it also highlights the reality of living in cities like New York and San Francisco, where ‘small space’ is a phrase that doesn’t even begin to describe how utterly minuscule some apartments are. Megan’s bare bones dressing room has to function as multiple spaces in one tiny 8’x8’ pod, and tying everything together into one cohesive and functional retreat provided a unique set of challenges:
“Before the show, I get my wig put on and sit quietly for a minute. At intermission, I read, practice ukulele, and do fan mail. It also needed to be comfy for friends who come to the show to hang out afterward and chat for a bit.”
