Copy Cat Chic Room Redo | Gender Neutral Nursery
· Lindsey

Today’s happy nursery is a great example of how you can personalize a space even when you are keeping your little one’s gender a surprise. It’s cozy and warm, with furniture that can easily grow up with the baby or transition to other parts of your house.
It also provides an alternative to the standard crib, which is called a baby hammock! While I can’t personally attest to its effectiveness, they are purported to make your baby sleep like a lamb, thanks to the three-dimensional motion the provide. They even adjust as your child grows—you can lower them to just a few inches off the ground when baby is big enough to start standing up. Considering how easy it is as an adult to fall asleep in a hammock, I’d say this might be magic if you have a colicky baby or one that just simply has better things to do than go to sleep 🙂
