COPY CAT CHIC

Copy Cat Chic Room Redo | Bright Retro Entry

· Lindsey

This amazing entryway from Domino, designed by the one and only Jonathan Adler, is one of the most cheerful rooms I’ve seen in a while and is a true embodiment of Adler’s ‘happy chic’ motto. And I have to say, blue and orange is one of my very favorite combinations, so much so that I used that combo on my own resume!

When it comes to the folding screen, the original version is of course way out of the budget. However, the design powers that be have now turned them into a really affordable design staple, which was not the case even just a handful of years ago. The one in the links does require a bit of DIY, but it’s as simple as painting everything white and then going back in with the gold accents. If you’re not up for a DIY, here is a screen in the same vein that may work better for you.

Screen $146
Cube table $119
Mirror $279
Bookshelf $109
Rug $218
Faux orchid & vase $249
Blue vases $29, $34
Lamp $99
Orange notebook $6
Blue notebook $6
Orange & blue notebook $5

TOTAL
$1,299
