Copy Cat Chic Room Redo | Sunny Entryway

I tend to shy away from all things yellow (besides queso, of course), but this cheerful entry from BHG is definitely an exception. The mix of natural, woven elements and subtle gold accents gives the space a casual elegance that beckons you right in. This room just feels perfect for the peak of summer–bright, happy, and carefree. What’s more, the wallpaper and accessories could easily be switched to your favorite hue, making this a stylish and versatile space.

Since the wallpaper is the real showstopper here, those of us who rent could substitute a framed panel or removable tiles for gorgeous and functional alternatives. An indoor/outdoor rug like this one means crisis averted when it comes to muddy or sandy feet, and a shoe basket helps keep the rest of the place in order. This console is actually a desk, so if you’re in need of an office nook instead of an entry, you’re in luck! My favorite piece has got to be the large-scale mirror for its clean lines and gilded frame. Light + shine + a spot to check my hair on the way out = sold.
